Brian McLaren’s thoughts while at Davos

These are a few of Brian’s thoughts on Davos from when he was at the World Economic Forum.
While they may be few, I think there is something very important for us to consider..are we even more synchronistic than we would like to think? Is the too much of us in our Christianity? Do we need to listen more closely to our critics than our allies?
Enjoy…

Also to be noted, I need to come out of the closet: this post was created on my iPod touch. My computer is in use. By the way, the touch was all I needed and hoped it to be!

  1. Enjoy your time for now. Enjoy the acclaim and the money and the power for a time. Your destruction is written as plain as day recorded in 95 AD in Revelation 17, where Jesus wipes out the apostate church who is guilty of spiritual adultery and eventually killing anyone who is not willing to practice idolatry with the rest of the world. Jesus hates idolatry. Every other “god” is false and is really one of the many angelic host that are deceiving people right into hell with them by rejecting the only way of being healed and made whole. Run head long into your destruction that you favored. Throw off the help of the one true god so that you may make your (false) self “god”. See the response of the Lord as told through out Revelation for your sin and the sin of leading others down the same path of rebellion into the apostasy. It does not end well for you! There is time to repent and pull out if you want. You are being tricked by Satan if you reject the only hope of the world, Jesus Christ.

  2. So much for freedom of speech. I am so glad I have Jesus as my one and only Savior who has a great eternity for me and any one who bows to his will too.
