Andrew Jones and others have been posting about this film. I am with them. It needs to be seen, and the issues need to be dealt with.
I heard this morning that there is money for young girls in the US who are victims of the sex trade; however, the bill, which has yet to be passed, stipulates that the money is only for girls who are not American? While I think that there has been more attention given to the trade in the places where it happens the most, it is still a problem in the US as well. The bill should be more inclusive.
One of the major US networks is doing a special soon on the sex trade in the Suburbs of America. I can’t find a link to it right now, but I know I’ve seen a few ads for it.
What are you doing to end slavery today?
