I agree this is a bit simplistic. But I do think this is a glimpse into the problem of the human condition which, in this case, manifests itself in the exploitation of others in the name of financial gain.
But I do want to add an amendment-every means of making money is not an exploitation of others. We do need to recognize our interdependence with each other in order to make a living.
That being said, ripping people off to make a huge payday is not one of those instances.
