Welcome to joshuacase.net.
Began in the early days of blogging, this space contains snapshots in my journey through the years as well as my work in the present. I hope that this digital store front connects you to my narrative in ways that invite you to become your best self. Goodness knows the world needs more of our best selves walking around!
If you are interested in other things I am blogging and writing you can check out (Holy Innocents’, Homebrewed Christianity, Huffington Post). Through and through, I hope you find the stories, photos, and articles engaging, if not provoking.
As a matter of context, my wife and I relocated to Atlanta, Georgia in 2008 (technically Kirkwood) from Geneva Switzerland where I worked as Executive director for a youth work and ministry organization during the course of our six years abroad. In 2011, I finished my Master’s work at Emory University’s Candler School of Theology with a Master of Divinity with an emphasis in Religion, Health and Science.
Presently, I work at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church as the Associate Rector for Mission. Much of my focus and passion these days is on helping people within faith communities discern how their faith, lives, and passions open new ways for them to be citizen partners in faith – particularly with the Holy Innocents of Our Day – children effected by the violence of poverty, social inequality, and food insecurity.
When not curating justice-centered, faith-inspired and technological experiences, I find time to enjoy life with my wife Laura, our son Gavroche and our daughter Geneva. I love to golf, connecting passionaries to mission, hosting parties for friends (digitally or physically), and listening to good music.
